Anxiety
Whether or not you have a diagnosed anxiety disorder, it is likely you experience some amount of anxiety. You live in a fast paced world with little social support, try to afford life in California, and receive more involuntary information into your nervous systems than it evolved to handle. All of us are a little bit anxious. Our work with anxiety begins with building awareness about the stories, relationships, and conditions that allow anxiety to flourish unchecked, to identify what areas of your life anxiety is most affecting, and how. Once we’ve oriented ourselves to anxiety’s process, we can begin to honor the protective role it seeks to play in your life, experiment with tools for managing and reframing anxiety-provoking moments, and develop more agency over your thoughts, actions, and relationships.
